Screen Fabrics

Matt White

Matte White is a front projection screen fabric in matte finish and is the most common used and available in the market. In addition, most of the projectors available are predicted and adjusted to work with this material type of screen material.

Matte white screens have a gain of 1.0, and in dark rooms, such as cinema screens, they produce the best picture. In rooms with little ambient light, they can also perform well. These screens are commonly used in cinemas, at home for watching films and also for gaming. Their bright colours and nicely balanced contrast are what most of the consumers want.

Silver Screen Fabric

The silver projection screen has a 1.5 gain value and belongs to the group of high-gain screens. This material manages to brighten very dark images, and it is often good for projecting 3D images. They work well with low contrast high-lumen projectors, but they can never be used with short-throw ones.

Acoustically Transparent

An acoustically transparent screen gives you the ability to place speakers behind a projector screen. An acoustically transparent screen is usually made of a woven material that blocks light from passing through but allows sound to pass through without being distorted. They are very useful for placing the speakers out of direct sight and behind the screen. Voices and other sounds have the effect of coming from the picture itself, rather than from the sides and below the projector screen.

The angular weave eliminates the moiré effect while presenting warm neutral colours for high definition 1080P (1920×1080) and 4K UHD projectors.

High Gain Superior

High Gain Superior is a grey coloured fabric used in situations when it is required to deliver darker images. They are preferred for brighter rooms where light is difficult to controlled. These screens are great for both watching films and playing games with many dark levels.

High gain superior fabric are designed to rely on powerful projectors that can produce adequate levels of luminosity so that the white areas of the image still appear as white, taking advantage of the non-linear perception of brightness in the human eye.

Perforated Fabric

Perforated screens use a very strong material that has been perforated with thousands of holes, typically less than 0.3mm in diameter. This allows sound to penetrate the material while stopping light from passing through it.

Rear projection screen

Rear Projection

White Rear Film: White rear film is more opaque, which helps make the images more uniform when paired with brighter projectors. Evenly distribution of light, making it a great choice in dark environments.

Gray Rear Film: Translucent in appearance, it will give you the brightest image available in a rear projection material, which is great for environments with some ambient light.
